"It's not true that i didn't want to renew Mexes's contract, and i explained that to him. He is a player of character and did well last season. He can be useful, although we need to buy someone for the defence. He has to change his attitude and he knows that as well," Mihajlovic told Mediaset Premium.
Mihajlovic also got asked about Milan target Alessio Romagnoli, who reportedly has agreed personal terms with Milan.
"Romagnoli is an important player with great potential, but he is not milan's."
